Class, unless otherwise clearly stated, is at Portland Dance Studio (inside the Oak Street Building) on 232 SE Oak St. Portland, OR 97214. Look for the pinkish wall with rats painted on it. The door codes for building entry are included in your class confirmation email.

This class is intended for adults 16+ . However, if child is accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class that is fine. Typically there is not space for a guardian to only observe, but please email to discuss this case.

Wear clothing you are comfortable jumping and sweating in. Sneakers you would jog or play sports in are great. Bring a water bottle! Masks are optional. The goal is always to make (level 0) classes accessible to first time students who have never tried to shuffle before, while keeping it new and interesting for those that have been attending classes consistently for some time. This varies greatly by student though. It takes courage to try something new and enter a new space and we warmly welcome you, as we have all been in the same position! Bring a positive playful energy and you will fit in great and have a fun experience!
